How To Recognize The Signs A Marriage Is In Trouble

How do you recognize the signs a marriage is in trouble? It may be difficult to see them because they start out small and grow over time. Other times we don’t notice them because we don’t want to. Ignoring the signs a marriage is in trouble will not help you, so prepare yourself and take care of the problem while it is still small.

Since over half of all marriages in end divorce, could it be people don’t know how to see the signs a marriage is in trouble? Or maybe it’s just that we see problems in other people’s lives more easily than we see issues in our own lives?

Signs A Marriage Is In Trouble

Selfishness – Being married and in love with someone should mean that you want only the best for them. To accomplish this you have to put their needs first a majority of the time. If you do this for them and they do it for you in return, then everyone’s happy. If only one person’s needs get met, resentment can build up over time.

Lack of Communication – Remember when you used to talk about anything and everything? Now you get very little or no communication from your spouse. This might be a sign your marriage is in trouble. Honest communication on a regular basis is important to all relationships, so don’t let this slide.

Wrong Priorities –Your relationship with your spouse needs to be your top priority. Other important things, such as your kids, your extended family, and your job need your attention, too. If your relationship isn’t solid, where will that leave your family? Is your spouse still your best friend? If not, your marriage could easily fail.

Lack of Intimacy –Sometimes couples don’t schedule time to be alone and then find themselves with no sex life and none of the little intimacies that make life special. It doesn’t have to be that way. Make it a priority to schedule time for just the two of you regularly.

Now you are aware of some of the signs a marriage is in trouble. There are more, I’m sure. The important thing is to guard your marriage against these problem areas and take action if any of them rear their ugly heads.

Love Relationship Advice -Where Can You Find Reliable Love Relationship Advice

It seems you can find love relationship advice anywhere these days. Everywhere you look, whether it’s TV or on the internet, there are the self-styled relationship ‘gurus’ giving you advice on how to have a happy and successful relationship. The problem is that many of these people don’t really know what they are talking about. So where is a guy or gal to turn?

One place you can usually get some decent advice on your love relationship is from your friends who are dating or who have been involved in a long-term relationship. Another good place to get some solid advice would be from…oh perish the thought!…your parents. They have lived a lot longer than you have (no matter if you’re 14 or 40) Wisely choosing where to get your advice is one of the major keys to succeeding in your relationships.

All of us have had problems with a relationship at some time or another in our lives. Sometimes I feel like we just keep making the same mistakes over and over again. I don’t know why this has to be. Perhaps some unresolved issue within ourselves. I know I had a few and until I was able to get past them, it seemed like could never get and keep the kind of relationship I really wanted.

I went through a stretch for many years that I call my ‘desert’ period. Boy, it seemed like no matter what I did, I just couldn’t keep it together. Things would be going along great with a relationship and then the boom would fall. It was awful! I thought I would never find that love connection I was looking for. I finally did, but until I got the right love relationship advice, life was pretty rough.

I was going through yet another breakup when I reconnected with a friend. He helped me discover the missing pieces that ultimately helped me rebuild and rekindle my broken relationship. I owe him more than I can ever repay for helping me to learn to do things differently. If you need some really great love relationship advice that actually works, you should check out the videos on his website here. He may be a little unorthodox for some, but his methods for saving a relationship really do work!
